RATurday Update 18!

Missed posting an update last week, oopsiesssss

Rattery Update:

Not a whole lot of exciting things to post about this week, although I do plan on having some babies available for adoption in a little less than two weeks! I also have a couple of rats entering retirement that I may post as well.

I have most but not all of my current pairings posted on my website, although there are quite a few that aren't going to be available to pet homes jussst yet. I want to give a few of them a couple of more generations to continue to improve temperaments before I make them an officially "Adoptable line."

I'm also considering making a line available for the very first time, although I would want any potential adopters to be comfortable with me checking in with them quite often to help me track what their temperaments are like outside of the UnCre Rat Vault.

Those looking for wolfies: Sorry but you'll have to wait a bit longer! I did just pair one of my wolfie boys to a Werewolf carrier doe, but I don't expect any babies for at least another month.

I will be probably be making a little informational post in the somewhat near future that will contain details on the general personality traits of each of my lines. I'm thinking this may help adopters pick babies from a line that would be more likely to suit their household. Some of my lines don't have a single brain cell to share between them, and others are outgoing and adventurous.

Reptarium Update:

My very first corn snake clutch should be hatching at the end of the month and I am SO EXCITED!

I've also been considering taking a little step back from ball pythons. The reptile community seems SO oversaturated with them at the moment, that I don't really want to keep adding to it. I plan on keeping a couple of small hobby projects going with them, but will very likely not be expanding my ball python collection (unless I can get my paws on Tri Stripe, that is!)

Instead, I will probably be focusing on colubrids and blood pythons! Not going to lie, I find both of them to just be more interesting and appealing.

I'm also still building up my Gargoyle and Crested Gecko projects -- their derpy little faces are just the best things ever!

Anywho, maybe you'll see an update from me next week, and maybe you won't 🤣
